Last Summer we held our first Daytime Disco, entitled SaturDAY Fever. A Disco where you can spend hours on the dancefloor and still be home by 8pm (unless of course you decide to make a night of it in town).
It was a fabulous afternoon, and we have been asked to host another one, we certainly do not need any encouragement.
The fabulous Lydney Town Hall is where it’s all happening. It boasts the best dance floor in the Forest and with plenty of space makes the perfect venue for this event.
Come along and strut your stuff and dance like no one is watching, to some fabulous music that used to fill the dance floors of many clubs throughout the country. Music and dancing is so good for the soul and nostalgia is guaranteed too.
By coming along you will be supporting the wonderful work of Great Oaks Hospice, supporting over 1200 patients, their carers and families in our community when they need it the most. All our services are free of charge. You will also be supporting Lydney Town Hall, who will have the bar open for the duration. The venue continues to play a vital part in the town’s community.
You could be planning a celebration, or just want to get a group of friends together for a Saturday afternoon with a difference. Fancy Dress is optional, however highly recommended as there may be a few prizes for our favourite outfits on the day.
