Talks

atkinsboatEndurance rower, Paul Williams, who was in a world record breaking crew for rowing across the Atlantic, will speak about his experience of spending weeks rowing at sea on a small boat.
He has rowed the Atlantic 3 times and supported other crews in ocean rowing; his talk is expected to cover all aspects of endurance rowing from the training and prep to the realities of life on-board and having to cope with varying weather.
Paul, originally from Cheltenham is kindly doing this talk as a fund-raiser for Lydney Skiff Project so donations will be appreciated.
Lydney Town Hall is running the bar.
